SCOTLAND NECK, NC: Mr. Turner James Smith, 64, of Scotland Neck, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2012 at Our Community Hospital, Scotland Neck, NC. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Chapel of New Beginnings Funeral Service, 109 W. 5th Street, Scotland Neck, NC. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 13668 Old 125 Road, Scotland Neck, NC, with Bishop J. J. Johnson, officiating. Burial will follow in Staton’s Memorial Cemetery.
