SCOTLAND NECK, NC: Mr. Richard Lee Battle, 64, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026.

A floating visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Chapel of New Beginnings Funeral Service, Inc., 109 W. 5th Street, Scotland Neck, NC 27874.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Mary's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 7079 Mary Chapel Rd, Scotland Neck, NC 27874. Interment will follow in Mary's Chapel Cemetery.
