WASHINGTON, DC: Ms. Rosa Knight Williams, formally of Scotland Neck, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 in Washington, DC.   Rosa was the beloved mother of George G. (Fernne) Williams; devoted sister of Dosey Mitchell, Cora Hollinshed, C., Roy, Sr. and Pedrick Knight. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Brian (DeShanda), Kelley and Danielle; five great-grandchildren, Tanea, Brian, Jr., Brandon, Breyon and Tori and a host of other relatives and friends.f A viewing was held on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 6PM to 8PM at Stewart Funeral Home, 4001 Benning Rd., NE, Washington, DC 20019 Ms. Williams will lie in state at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 6854 Old 125th Rd., Scotland Neck, NC, Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon.   Interment Mary's Chapel Cemetery.
