Raleigh, NC, Ms. Millicent Higgs Brooks, 70, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024.

A floating visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of New Beginnings Funeral Service, Inc. 109 W 5th St, Scotland Neck, NC 27874.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Roanoke Zion Baptist Church, 3529 Kehukee Church Road, Scotland Neck, NC 27874. Interment will follow in the Staton Memorial Cemetery, Scotland Neck, NC.

Please maintain social distancing, and although it is not required, we recommend wearing a mask during services.
