SCOTLAND NECK, NC: Ms. Mary Lou Shields, 62, of Scotland Neck, NC passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Our Community Hospital, Scotland Neck, NC. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM in the Chapel of New Beginnings Funeral Service, 109 W. 5th Street, Scotland Neck, NC. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Mary's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Dexter Davis, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mary's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
