SCOTLAND NECK, NC: Mr. Lawrence Whitaker, 86, of Scotland Neck, NC passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Chapel of New Beginnings Funeral Service, 109 W. 5th Street, Scotland Neck, NC. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Mary’s Chapel Baptist Church, Scotland Neck, NC. Burial will follow in Mary’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
