RICH SQUARE, NC - Mr. James N. Smith, 89, formally of Scotland Neck, departed this life on November 25, 2010 at LifeCare Hospital, Rocky Mount, NC. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Monday, November 29, 2010 in the Chapel of New Beginnings Funeral Service, Rich Square, NC. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Mary's Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Staton Memorial Cemetery.
