SCOTLAND NECK, NC: Ms. Hattie Mae Whitaker, 86, of Scotland Neck, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Our Community Hospital, Scotland Neck, NC. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Chapel of New Beginnings Funeral Service, 109 W. 5th Street, Scotland Neck, NC. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Mary’s Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Staton Memorial Cemetery.
