Obituary
SCOTLAND NECK NC: Ms. Edith Ray Johnson Alston, 69, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021.
A floating visitation will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the Chapel of New Beginnings Funeral Service, 109 W. 5th Street, Scotland Neck, NC 27874.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Scotland Neck Municipal Auditorium, 1310 Main Street, Scotland Neck, NC 27874. Interment will immediately follow in the Staton Memorial Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19 and for the protection of our families, visitors, and staff; New Beginnings Funeral Service, Inc. will be following all CDC guidelines by implementing social distancing, limiting the number of persons in attendance, and requiring the wearing of masks for all services.
