With a Dream, strong determination, hard work, and fervent prayers on
August 5, 2008 a new business emerged on the scene in Rich Square,
North Carolina.
With the combined efforts of Joseph Gordon, Jr. and John Smith – New
Beginnings Funeral Service, Inc. opened it doors to serve the public.
Gordon has over 20 years in the funeral industry and is former owner of
Gordon Funeral Home in Rich Square. After about 3 years from the
profession Gordon’s love for serving the public had been rekindled.
After forming an alliance with Smith, who brings 23 years of public
service as an insurance salesman and funeral attendant, together they
prayerfully moved forward to fulfill their dream.
As the name states, this is a New Beginning for us, but we have been
blessed with a staff with many years of experience in the funeral
industry.
